You call yourself logical and can't figure this out?

it a 'slim' when the ONLY photo so far shows that it is no slimmer. Why are you talking about the 360 at a lower price when there is NO evidence of such a thing.

1. "Just Sony trying to push yet another technology down everyones throats"

Yes...only SONY is involved in bringing 3D to the home....all those content providers and other firms that have 3D HDTVs on the market don't exist. /s

2. "give folks a chance to get on the HD bandwagon before you go pushing another over priced tech. "

Um....you want consumers that currently do not have HDTVs to go out and buy current tech FIRS...

...same thing was said about iPhone and iPads....why do I need such a thing...

We now see how those arguments have gone.

used by MS as a 'mascot'??? Really?

I guess I don't understand how the word 'mascot' is being used.

Patent system is being used to artificially control what human movements can be used to trigger a response in a system. I think it is fine to patent the hardware and software that INTERPRETS the movements...but to patent the movements themselves (like Apple has too) just rubs me the wrong way.

PBR.

$169 it is getting more tempting...but I'll still hold out for $99.

I just picked up a brand new Xbox Pro for $99 about two weeks ago so I see no reason I should pay more than that for a Wii.
